How to become a societal shaper, ready to respond to the many societal challenges in a resilient and creative way?

We, Fabula Collective vzw, are a young and multidisciplinary collective creating new societal narratives and forms. We live and work together and one of our upcoming initiatives is this Bootcamp!
Our generation can't rely anylonger on many of the things that have been 'normal' over the past decades. We already entered a time of unclarity and potential chaos. But, with that, a lot of new possibilities arise. The question is: how to stand with confidence and true openness in this turbulent depths of change?
In order to become an active societal shaper of tomorrow's societal structures and stories
*we will need to understand the societal structures that surround us today in order to recognize which ones are causing unhealth and need radical change.
*we will also have to understand our own actions, their origin and consequences and what it is that inspires, concerns and drives us.
*and last but not least we will have to activate our will to respond creatively to the new needs, let true change emerge and to come to create real new forms and stories for our communities and society!
The Societal Shapers Bootcamp aims to create an intensive setting in which we can actively explore all three parst mentioned above.
This Bootcamp will take place over a time span of 10 days - January 16 untill 25 2014.
It is directed to youth age 20-35.
There is space for 12 participants.
During the 10 days you will live in a big house in the city centre of the thriving and cultural city of Gent (Belgium).
There you will go through a process which will allow you to perceive the current situation we are in, to understand your own actions and ways of thinking and to come to a new openness and let new thoughts and forms emerge.
The time together will allow us to strengthen our own confidence, come to create new thoughts, connect with one another and will plant the seeds necessary to become active societal shapers.
